As an athlete, you're constantly on the lookout for new ways to improve your game and prevent injuries.
Strength. Accuracy. Flexibility. Speed. Injury prevention. These are some of the goals of every athlete whether you're a weekend golfer, or an MMA fighter.
You know you have to constantly challenge your body to reach new levels of stamina and endurance. You need balance and core strength to achieve those goals.
There’s nothing worse than downtime because of a sports-related injury. Many injuries could be avoided if your ligaments and tendons were strengthened to withstand the increased stress of your sport or workout.
Envision more strength, balance, speed and accuracy in your sport.
StrongBoard Balance gives your body new ways to increase balance, and just standing on the board forces you to engage your core muscles. Athletes know the importance of a strong core: it prevents injuries and provides the balance necessary for all athletes to move quickly and accurately, no matter what the goal.
The musculoskeletal core of the body includes the spine, hips and pelvis, proximal (closer to the body center) lower limb and abdominal structures. The muscles involved are those of the trunk and pelvis that are responsible for stabilizing the spine and pelvis as well as generating and transferring energy from the center of the body to its extremities.
The core participates in both stability and mobility. The stabilizer muscles include the upper and lower trapezius, hip rotators, and glutei. The major mobilizers are the latissimus dorsi, pectoralis major, hamstrings, quadriceps, and iliopsoas. Indeed, the core is comprised of much more than your six-pack.
Balance board fitness enhances your proprioception, and strengthens the neural pathways to joints and ligaments, providing you a faster response time in your sport. Additionally, if you have injuries, a balance fitness routine will enhance blood flow to the ligaments and tendons, enhancing the recovery process.

StrongBoard Balance has added so much value into my life personally and most certainly into the lives of all of the unique and diverse number of athletes within my program!
I was blessed enough to first discover StrongBoard Balance December of 2014, and I was immediately addicted to all of the wonderful qualities of the board! I now utilize this awesome tool nearly every day within the foundation of all of my athletic program design; it has become the most consistent, tried and true coaching tool with my arsenal. My athletes love all of the fast twitch stimulation and proprioception developing capabilities that the quad springs offers. Hands down this is the greatest training tool I have ever used, not only for it stability and dynamic core strengthening, but also for rehabilitation, neuromuscular conditioning, injury prevention, and the list goes on and on.
I train and coach NCAA and professional athletes in a variety of sports, from NFL, MLB, USA Track & Field, Olympic Boxing, Tennis, Soccer, MMA (UFC), etc... Not to mention I also played professional football in the National Football League, as a former high level athlete myself, I can completely understand why all of my top athletes crave the muscle activation that the StrongBoard training offers. Every coach across the globe should be using this tool to help develop their athletes. This training tool should be the cornerstone of every strength and conditioning program across the globe.
What is Proprioception?
Proprioception, simply put, means sense of self. The proprioceptors are sensors that provide information about joint angle, muscle length and muscle tension, which gives the brain information about the position of the limb in space at any given time.
