With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it’s time to reflect on the people we love. When someone we care about is struggling with a health goal and having a hard time committing to a healthy lifestyle, it can be very hard to watch. How can you share the love and help the ones you love without being nagging or condescending?
The best way to help someone achieve their dreams is to help them live congruent to their dreams. Go with them to the gym, show them how to cook healthy meals, and avoid trigger situations where they might cave. You’ll get to spend some quality time together and show them you support their new lifestyle. Once they see you’re on their side, they will be more likely to confide in you instead of resisting.
