Every year we start out strong, really wanting change, but by mid-March, we’re back to our old habits. How about making some New Year resolutions you can actually keep?
Try this:
Pick one thing you want to stop, or even start. Every month, you only have to focus on one goal. At the end of each month, determine whether you feel better about that goal and want to continue with it. Either way, you pick another goal for February, then March, and so on.
Some examples to help you:
January: No Coffee
February: Start Meditating
March: No Television
April: Read Four Books
May: Etc. Etc.
You get the picture.
Let’s really make this the year you stick with the plan and don’t feel overwhelmed by doing so. Accomplishments give us a feeling of self-pride. You deserve to feel great!
Stay balanced my friends. :)
