Doing Side Split Squats on StrongBoard Balance Board and a Stability Ball are great for toning legs, strengthening core and improving balance!
1. Start with left foot across logo in center of platform, right foot/ankle on stability ball.
2. Lower your body toward your lead leg by bending at the knee and hip while keeping your opposite leg straight.
3. Return to original standing position by extending hip and knee.
4. Repeat the prescribed number of repetitions, then switch legs.
Tips: This is an advance exercise so practice the squats without any weight to allow yourself to become comfortable with the reactive movements of StrongBoard Balance before adding any external modalities. Keep torso upright and knee of lead leg pointed same direction of foot.
