Looking to strengthen lower body & improve core strength? Try Suspension Lunges with TRX on StrongBoard Balance Board! They definitely make for a fun exercise for leg day! Be advised, this is an advanced combination exercise.
1. Facing away from the anchor point, plant your right foot firmly across the center of the StrongBoard platform and place your left foot in both TRX straps.
2. Keeping your chest up and shoulders back, lower down into a lunge, extending the left leg behind you, keeping some bend in your knee.
3. Return to starting position and repeat for desired amount of repetitions.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 on the opposite leg.
Tips: This is an advanced balance/combination move. You should have experience with all the basic exercises StrongBoard Balance has to offer before attempting this exercise.
You can make this exercise even more challenging by adding any external modality.
