My origins in the fitness industry:
I started coaching a swim team about 15 years ago and never loved anything more. To be able to coach and see improvements made me feel like I can make a difference. I knew from then on I wanted to do something to better peoples lives. Thats when I decided to get involved in the Fitness Industry. I wanted to help people any way I could through fitness. I became a NASM certified personal trainer and continued my education to become a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Group Personal Training Specialist, and Trigger Point. I am before anything else a wife to a loving incredibly supportive husband and mother to 3 beautiful children. I want to constantly lead by example and set a balanced healthy life for my family and peers. I am very passionate in what I do and want to teach as many people as I can the things I’ve learned. I make exercise part of my life not part of a moment in my life. I feel very eager to learn new things and am constantly searching for ways to help people exercise for vitality.
My personal success is getting in shape while having 3 children and finding that balance. Having children is a full time job on it's own and being able to find the time to exercise while still being a parent is about the hardest thing you can do. My children are right by my side when I workout personally, as well as when I personal train and instruct. Having your children involved in your workout routine is one of the best healthy examples you can set.
Favorite StrongBoard Exercise:
Oh goodness I have to choose?? There are too many... I do love the side glute raise with heel up, and the side planks with a dip..also the tricep dips are killer, and single leg deadlifts, and the squats to overhead press...and my new favorite is jump squat on strongboard with a twist. Ok that about sums it up for now.
Favorite StrongBoard Experience:
My most favorite experience is having Mike and Adella come take a StrongBoard BURN meets Country class with all of my most dedicated participants. It meant the world to us to have them there and to see how well everyone did on StrongBoard Balance and to see all smiles was the best experience I could have ever imagined.
Favorite StrongBoard Color:
Blue and Green of course!!
Favorite Workout Music:
I have a large variety of favorite music from hip hop to alternative to even recently country...I found if you have an open mind you can find motivation in any style of music.
Anything that involves outdoors...Camping, Hiking, Swimming, Surfing, Hiking, Riding Bikes, etc.....
My Personal Vice:
Wine and Scandal!
Travel Memories and Aspirations:
Favorite place traveled Jamaica and aspire to go to Costa Rica...
