My origins in the fitness industry:
I started in Corporate Health and Fitness, and moved into Private Member Clubs. What I love most
about being an instructor is the moment when people discover how to fall in love with a fitness lifestyle
that will work for their life. When people commit to bettering themselves so they can continue to take
care of others. That’s where the magic is!
Using the StrongBoardBalance tool I have developed a confidence in my movment and my body such
that I can still perform an old hip hop dance move called ‘threading the needle’ I did this when I was 18.
At 41 years of age, I have the confidence at a moment's notice.
Favorite StrongBoard Exercise:
Dissociated movement on the strongboard (golf swing motion) this is really teaching me how to turn and
rotate at my spine and maintain good alignment over the board. The moment I sway, I am off the
board. I enjoy learning where my body is and needs to be in space.
Favorite StrongBoard Experience:
The moment when my clients step on the board for the first time and realize that there was NOTHING to
Fear but Fear itself!
Favorite StrongBoard Color:
Rainbow. My training approach and clientele ranges so vastly. Everyone’s got a favorite colour. So, it’s
best that I have a multitude of colours on my board.
Favorite Workout Music:
Dance music and Hip Hop
currently i enjoy the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Deadpool’ Soundtrack
Family Time, traveling with my wife and 3 girls, fixing stuff, renovations, cooking breakfast, I love
watching all forms of movement, live music, musical theater
My Personal Vice:
donut holes (in Canada they are Tim Bits) / alcohol (my palate is too easy)/ the bachelor / bachelorette
(sometimes you need to turn OFF the brain and watching this is certainly a vice)
Travel Memories and Aspirations:
The Greek Islands, Santorini and Mykonos.
My Aspirations or bucket list for travel would be to have attend all the Tennis Majors (Australian Open,
French Open, US Open and Wimbledon.)
