My origins in the fitness industry:
I was an athlete in high school and worked at 24-hour fitness after graduating. I ended up teaching classes in kickboxing first because I broke my wrist and that prevented me from teaching swim lessons. This also led me to personal training. As I became more engaged in teaching I found an interest in a variety of formats. I love to do different workouts to prevent being bored. There is a different type of energy you get in a class setting and it’s so fun to have that interaction while working out.
